Satamosaari Island is an easy-going summer oasis in Lake Saimaa, close to the harbours of Imatra, Rauha and Joutseno. The harbour is located in a sheltered, lagoon-like bay where boaters arrive along a marked route from the north. Satamosaari has three piers for boaters, as well as a cruise pier from where there is a route, suitable for the disabled, to a campfire shelter and a sauna. In addition, there are two more campfire shelters and two saunas on the other sides of the bay. You can book one of the saunas for private use for one hour, or you can have a sauna later in the evening when there are common sauna times for men and women separately. The sauna is heated by those who use it.
